Tuesday, October 21, 2014: Observing bats in Glen Ellyn's belfry while being lit for the holidays

Last night, on my weekly walk to Shannon's Pub for trivia night, I saw workmen installing lights in the trees lining Glen Ellyn's main streets.

Continuing on my way, I looked up to discover enormous bats in the clock tower atop the Civic Center.

The holiday season is coming to Glen Ellyn.
